Intero Foundation
Intero was founded in the San Francisco Bay Area in 2002 and has quickly expanded from one office to one of the largest real estate services companies in the country touting more than $5 billion in sales. Now marking its first opening in Nevada, the Incline Village Intero office opened its doors in November 2006. The Intero brand strives to hold high standards integrating business with a company culture promoting values, trust, respect and integrity; therefore, it was a natural for the new office to make it’s first order of business to establish a charitable foundation designed to give back to the local community through children’s and environmental philanthropic organizations.
The Intero Incline Village Foundation (IIVF) goal is to support and have a positive impact on the local children and environment in Incline Village. Intero Incline Village real estate agents realize that they earn their living from the community making it equally important to give back. The Foundation is funded via its own real estate agents. At the conclusion of a sale the real estate agent gives to the IIVF and then the owner of Scott Properties, Vince Scott matches the donation, thus doubling the dollars available to Incline Village children’s or environmental philanthropic organizations in need. “We all believe in the Intero culture and the value of giving back to the community,” said Vince Scott, owner of Scott Properties, “It is a tremendous opportunity for me to be a part of opening an office and establishing a way to help the children and environment in our community.” The Intero team in Incline believes in giving back to our community and we are proud to work for a company that is making this a priority within our day to day business operations.
Intero means “whole or complete” and this daily foundation endeavor helps us to achieve our professional and personal goals in life.
